Jim Chahbar, our past candidate had a campaign, managed by Dave Dillon, which was fiscally responsible, efficient and full of fire and enthusiasm. While we did not win, the campaign placed a strong second place.

We are proud of Jim and his hard work and dedication. He has much to be proud of.

Jim Chahbar’s family immigrated to Canada from Lebanon when he was a child. Jim went on to receive an education from the University of Western Ontario and has been self-employed as a small business owner since 1979.
Jim knows first-hand the difficulties of integrating into a new society. He wanted to use the opportunity of running for public office, as a way to show that Canadians can work together to help our country succeed.
Jim understands what it takes to live and work in the London-Fanshawe community, and has a passion and a dream to attract business to Canada — specifically London. His years as a small business owner have taught him the importance of strength in our local economies for success. He wants to give back to the community that has given so much to him.
Jim and his wife have five children and three grandchildren. He is very committed to his family and enjoys spending time at the Mosque.
